At Reaction Retrievers our passion is building fierce competitors from the ground up.
Following approximately 8-12 months of training, most competitive dogs coming out of our program will have a solid base and most are ready to be competing at the Qualifying or Master Hunter level. From here, some of these dogs will be able to move through the transition stage of training and on to the All Age Stakes. Whether you are a seasoned Field Trialer or new to the Hunt Test game, Reaction Retrievers can build a dog you can be proud of.
The bond and trust between the handler and the dog is absolutely vital for success while competing. We highly recommended to anyone wishing to handle their own dog that they spend as much time as possible training with Reaction Retrievers until they become proficient. This skill comes more easily to some than to others. We believe this is one of the most exciting and rewarding things a handler and their dog could do. Reaction Retrievers has the patience and desire to help you get there.
Reaction Retrievers welcomes those competitors who have already introduced themselves to the game and are looking to either advance themselves and/or their dogs, or are experiencing training issues that are causing them grief at competitions.
We encourage you to book an appointment, visit our facility, and view our custom training grounds. In addition to our tech ponds and grounds on site, we also have access to tremendous private water and land all within close proximity to our home grounds.
Note – Reaction Retrievers limits the number of competitive dogs to eight. Additional costs can occur for handling and flyers. Training fees stay the same whether training in our facility near Winona MN or on any trip, which may include traveling South during the winter months. Contact us for further information.
